Larry Patterson appeals the district courts denial of his 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas petition in which Patterson contended that his appointed counsels conduct during his state trial was ineffective because counsel failed to interview three alibi witnesses. District Court Judge James B. Moran conducted an evidentiary hearing on the issue and determined, after a thoughtful analysis, that counsels conduct did not constitute ineffective assistance of counsel under Strickland v. Washington, 466 U.S. 668 (1984), and leading Seventh Circuit precedent. We affirm on the basis of the district courts well-reasoned Memorandum and Order, attached hereto as Appendix A.
